MER-C akan Kembali Kirim Bantuan Alat Kesehatan ke Jalur Gaza
Medical Emergency Rescue Committee (MER-C) akan kembali mengirimkan bantuan alat kesehatan berupa instrumen bedah plastik dan bedah saraf, dengan total volume sebanyak tiga pallet atau lebih dari 2.5 miliar rupiah, ke Jalur Gaza, Palestina. Ini merupakan bantuan alat kesehatan tahap kedua yang dipesan dari Yordania. Bantuan alat kesehatan pertama telah diserahterimakan pada September 2024 untuk memenuhi kebutuhan RS Indonesia di Gaza Utara. Saat perbatasan Rafah masih dibuka, MER-C juga menyalurkan bantuan alat kesehatan untuk dua RS di Gaza Selatan melalui Kairo, Mesir. Bantuan ini sebagai upaya lebih lanjut dari MER-C untuk membantu sistem kesehatan di Jalur Gaza yang hancur akibat perang genosida penjajah Israel selama lebih dari 15 bulan. MER-C juga telah mengirimkan dua delegasi ke Yordania yaitu Ketua Emergency Medical Team (EMT) MER-C dr. Arief Rachman, SpRad dan Liaison Officer EMT MER-C Nanang Khoirono untuk melakukan peninjauan terkait kesiapan dan kelengkapan alat kesehatan yang akan dikirim. Nanang mengatakan, bantuan alat kesehatan sudah siap dikirim untuk mendukung fasilitas kesehatan di Jalur Gaza khususnya di RS Indonesia, namun saat ini masih menunggu izin untuk bisa masuk ke Gaza. “Kami mengucapkan terima kasih kepada seluruh masyarakat Indonesia yang tiada henti dalam mendukung program-program MER-C Indonesia di Palestina,” ujarnya. ———————————————————————— MER-C Will Assist Another Medical Equipment Support to the Gaza Strip The Medical Emergency Rescue Committee (MER-C) will again assist a medical equipment support in the form of plastic surgery and neurosurgery instruments, with a total volume of three pallets or more than 2.5 billion rupiah, to the Gaza Strip, Palestine. This is the second phase of medical equipment support that have been ordered from Jordan. The first assist of medical equipment was handed over in September 2024 to meet the needs of the Indonesia Hospital in Northern Gaza. Back when the Rafah border was still open, MER-C also distributed medical equipment support to two hospitals in the South of Gaza via Cairo, Egypt. This support is a further effort by MER-C to help the healthcare system in the Gaza Strip which had been destroyed by the genocidal war of the Israeli occupation for more than 15 months. MER-C has sent two delegations to Jordan, namely the Head of the MER-C Emergency Medical Team (EMT) dr. Arief Rachman, Sp.Rad and the EMT MER-C Liaison Officer Nanang Khoirono to review the readiness and completeness of the medical equipments support that need to be sent. Nanang said that the medical equipment support is now ready to be sent to help the healthcare facilities in the Gaza Strip, especially in the Indonesia Hospital, but still currently waiting for permission to entering Gaza. “We would like to thank all Indonesian people who have continued to support MER-C Indonesia’s programs in Palestine,” he said.
